Old MacDonnell's Farm products - Wicklow Naturally October Feast

“Irish goodness within” is what best describes the produce which comes from Old MacDonnell’s Farm, and, today, customers at Supervalu in Wicklow town will have the opportunity to meet the makers from Old MacDonnell’s farm which is based in the Glens of the Downs, County Wicklow.

Since the seventies, Old MacDonnell’s Farm has been bringing us the taste of the Wicklow Mountains to our table from their goat farm and what a delicious range of produce it is too. Come and meet the makers from Old MacDonnell’s Farm in Supervalu in Wicklow town on October 23.

Old MacDonnell’s Farm creates original and real artisan food products. It creates original food products, namely yoghurt, soft cheese from cows and goats milk and hummus. The family have been doing this the clean natural way since 1983. When Brian MacDonnell first promoted the idea of ‘live’ food he was told it would never work. Nowadays it is all about ‘live’, ‘bio’ and ‘active’ food. Old MacDonnells Farm was the first to offer this in Ireland way back in 1983 and people seem to thrive on the idea. People want to protect their bodies and give themselves the best chance while having an enjoyable product.
Like all good quality producers their production methods and procedures all conform to the strictest regulations and hygiene standards.

There’s such an array of products which come from this beautiful place such as;

  • Live Natural Yoghurt
  • Live Strawberry Yoghurt
  • Wicklow Mountains Soft Goats Cheese
  • Crunchy Coleslaw
  • Goats Cheese Greek Salad
  • Mini Chevre Goats Cheese
  • Tzatziki Live Yoghurt Cheese
