With over a decade of culinary experience, Thea Kinsella is the founder of Maidin, a catering company dedicated to elevating craft services in the Irish film industry. At Maidin, we pride ourselves on serving delicious coffee, fresh juices, nutrient-packed smoothies, globally inspired small meals, and homemade baked goods, all crafted to fuel creativity on set.

Thea’s journey in the culinary world began with a degree in Culinary Arts, where she specialised in pastry. This foundation has allowed Thea to hone her skills and develop a deep appreciation for the art of food. Over the years, Thea has had the privilege of working as a private chef for renowned figures in the film industry, including Adam Sandler, George Clooney, Noah Baumbach, David Heyman, and Amy Pascal. These experiences have not only refined her culinary skills but also provided her with unique insights into the specific needs of film production teams.

At Maidin, our mission is to bring exceptional, flavourful, and nutritious food to film sets, ensuring that every meal is a delightful experience. We understand the demanding nature of the industry and strive to offer a service that is as reliable as it is innovative.
