Druids Glen Hotel & Golf Resort Appoints New Executive Head Chef

THE award-winning Druids Glen Hotel & Golf Resort in Newtownmountkennedy, County Wicklow has appointed Wicklow native Neal Kearns as Executive Head Chef.
Neal has been working in the hospitality sector for the last 20 years and has extensive experience in top hotels including Dunbrody House, Kingsley Hotel, Louis Fitzgerald Group, Castleknock Hotel and most recently as Director of Culinary in Carton House.
He has overseen the catering and dietary requirements of a range of elite teams from football clubs like Napoli and Chelsea FC, Glasgow Celtic, rugby teams New Zealand All Blacks, to our very own Irish Rugby Team and also the Senior Men and Women’s Irish Soccer Team and the Irish Cricket Team.
Neal may also be recognised for his live cooking demonstrations on Saturday mornings, on Virgin Media One’s, Ireland AM.
The resort looks forward to embracing Neal’s talent and experience, continuing their partnership with their neighbours at The Happy Pear and being involved in ‘Wicklow Naturally’, championing the food and drink which is produced and crafted in the Garden of Ireland.
